Terri Patrick has been called a force of nature, Mary Sunshine, an unusual person, and totally Yin with no Yang. She embraces all of these qualities. In describing herself, Terri says she laughs frequently, whines occasionally, and her continuing pursuit is to figure out “the meaning of life”.
Prior to catching the writing bug, Terri served in a variety of professional positions over four decades. These included bookkeeper, office manager, tech writer and business consultant. There were also a few years of working in home health care, geriatrics and hospice. She also has been a major supporter, and held many board positions, in the Rose City Romance Writers for more than a decade.
Cherish, a memoir celebrating her parent’s incredible marriage was her first foray into writing a fully realized book. In fiction, Terri is most interested in contemporary romance with a hint of the paranormal, and some adventure/mystery to spice it up.
Writing and reading are a main focus of Terri’s life but she also enjoys cooking, kayaking, and cycling. Her large family has brought country living, dogs, a horse, bunny, cats and mole-dirt-mountains into her daily life. She’s flown in a variety of airplanes with her pilot husband, ridden many types of motorcycles and operated power watercraft. Though she’s a savvy traveler, Terri truly appreciates being home.
Life is an adventure, and Terri’s chosen to take that journey and to share much of it through her writing.
