Highlander's Hope by Collette Cameron
This author does a fabulous job of transporting me back in time and feeling authentic. I feel the beauty of the time period, and absolute thankfulness I live in modern times simultaneously. I loved these characters even when I wanted to throttle them at times. Cameron always keeps me immersed and not wanting to see the end of the story. I have re-read all of her books several times and will again. This story subtly sets up themes for upcoming books too, though you can read any of her stories as stand-alones. I will keep re-visiting Ewan and Yvette's story again and again.
