Happy New Year: What Are We Talking About in January?

We made it to 2022! I know that several authors at Windtree Press were counting down until they could turn the calendar to a new year. We’ve asked for them to share their plans, hopes, dreams for 2022 during the month of January.
Here are some of the topics to look forward to and the date it will appear on this blog. If you aren’t familiar with some of these authors, check out the link to their page on Windtree Press and see all the wonderful books they’ve already written. They’ll be talking about some plans for this year in these celebrating 2022 posts.
January 4th — Do-Over by Jamie Brazil. For anyone who struggled to complete their goals in 2021, Jamie is offering a free Do-Over. Given all that happened in 2021, it’s time to give up on self-flagellation and instead bring those goals forward into the new year and get busy.
January 6th – The Excitement of a Clean Slate by Paty jager. The beauty of turning the page on a new year is to start with a clean slate. Paty, author of over 50 books, shares her writing goals for the year along with new productivity steps she is undertaking to make her books available in more types and places.
January 11 – Creating New Beginnings by Melissa Yuan-Innes. Emergency Room Physician and Author of more than 30 ttiles, Melissa knows a lot about new beginnings and the need to start the year with a good plan and lots of energy. She shares her 2022 writing schedule and how she balances it with family and ER work. She also announces a new seven-book series for her bestselling medical thriller, crime fighting character, Hope Sze.
January 18 – Opening the Door to New Opportunities by Shree Aier. Shree is celebrating her 40th birthday this month with renewed focus. She shares her own struggles with depression, health, and focus in the last two years, as well as how she is opening a new door to opportunties. She is excited about several new projects, including the re-release of her debut SF title, along with the second book in that series. She also shares her research and conclusions about how to live with fibromyalgia.
January 20 – Focus on Moving Forward by Maggie Lynch. Having a plan and a strong focus ahead is how Maggie plans to make 2022 a banner year. She discusses how she’s moving forward in her writing, her personal life, her thinking and planning. It is all in focus.
January 25 – Accidental Tourism by Jamie Brazil. Jamie shares her dreams for travel in 2022. For the immediate future, however, she must satisfy that urge vicariously through books and movies. She shares her favorite virtual destinations with readers.
