Donna Daniels

In addition to being a domestic violence and cancer survivor, Donna has used her experiences to advocate for others.

She is dedicated to raising awareness of colon and rectal cancer through public speaking and advocating with medical personnel. In fact, she was invited to speak in front of the United States Congress in January 2017.

Donna’s reason for writing this book is to let teens and adults know that your life has meaning no matter what bad choices you may have made in the past, no matter what you look like, no matter what your health is. You matter and as long as you know yourself and learn from your mistakes, you can thrive moving forward.

Here are her own words.

I’ve fought for my life many times, and so far I’ve’ won. I hope my story provides some insight into how women must fight to keep going. Through mental, emotional, and physical challenges you must keep fighting.

Don’t give up! You can do it. I’m still here against all odds and you can be too. Your life is worthwhile. Your story is important. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
